1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter agreements to book services.
2. Website information is not a booking
Website descriptions, quote-form submissions, emails, and preliminary discussions do not guarantee availability, price, timing, crew size, or service scope. A service is booked only when KBA Movers confirms the request and the customer accepts the applicable written terms.
3. Accurate and lawful use
You agree to provide accurate information and to use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, scrape the site in a way that disrupts service, or use site content to mislead others.
4. Text messages and electronic communications
The quote form includes an optional checkbox to receive text messages from KBA Movers about your request. By checking it you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the number you entered and that you agree to receive messages at that number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply, and your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. The full program terms are on the SMS Terms and Conditions page and are incorporated into these terms.
You also agree that KBA Movers may respond to you by phone, text, or email using the contact details you provide, and that notices sent that way satisfy any requirement that a communication be in writing.
5. Moving services
Service availability depends on the route, date, access, inventory, staffing, equipment, and applicable legal requirements. The Moving Policy describes general customer and mover expectations. Job-specific written documents control pricing, payment, scheduling, valuation, claims, cancellation, and other service terms.
6. Intellectual property
The website design, text, graphics, logos, and other original content are owned by or licensed to KBA Movers and are protected by applicable law. You may view and print a reasonable copy for personal use. No other copying, republication, sale, or commercial use is permitted without written approval from the applicable rights holder.
7. Third-party links
Links to review sites, maps, email providers, and other third parties are offered for convenience. KBA Movers does not control or endorse all third-party content and is not responsible for external sites, services, availability, or policies.
8. Disclaimers
The website is provided on an as-available basis. KBA Movers does not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, current, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties relating solely to website use are disclaimed. These disclaimers do not limit warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KBA Movers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from website use. Liability relating to an actual move is governed by the customer's written moving documents and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Iowa law and disputes
These website terms are governed by Iowa law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a dispute about the website, you agree to contact KBA Movers and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern. Any claim may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction, subject to any controlling job-specific agreement and applicable law.
11. Changes and severability
KBA Movers may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
